The First Aid Convention in Europe (FACE) is an annual European Red Cross event. It has taken place since 1986 in different countries across Europe.
FACE encourages the exchange of first aid techniques between European Red Cross members. The first aid competition involves teams providing first aid in a number of simulated scenarios. The first aid convention gives delegates the chance to share information and exchange views on Red Cross first aid practice and theory. The convention includes an opening ceremony in which teams parade in their country's colours.
For the edition 2008, there is a special guest: Gunther von Hagens, the famous doctor, has been named as the keynote speaker on Friday 20 June.
