In general, the Centre's vocation is to promote First Aid in Europe,
more precisely:
it is the administrative and technical
tool of the Network, |
it collects, analyses and makes readily
available information and knowledge on First Aid, |
it assists the National Societies in
their efforts to further develop training, |
it participates in the harmonization
and improvement of First Aid with a focus on quality, |
it facilitates exchanges between National
Societies and common initiatives, |
it constantly monitors the evolution
of domains linked to First Aid (medicine, pedagogy, road safety,
civil protection
), |
it ensures contacts with other Networks
and Reference Centres. |
