During the last meeting of the First Aid Education European Network, it was agreed to set up a task force on first aid education for vulnerable groups in order to:

- map current activities and good practices,

- identify appropriate guidelines for working with vulnerable groups.

In order to allow European National Societies to present and share their projects, successes and difficulties in the field of first aid education for vulnerable groups, the idea of a workshop seemed to be the most suitable. This workshop will take place on 1st and 2nd June 2006 and is hosted by the British Red Cross.

This seminar will offer the opportunity to hear about and discuss a range of projects with vulnerable groups: information on the projects, how they are funded, what are the barriers and good practices, what methodology can be defined.
